On 12th December 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Los Angeles together with Wat Thai of Los Angeles organized the Buddhist Fiftieth-Day Funeral Rites in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother of Thailand. Mr. Tor Saralamba, Consul-General of Thailand to Los Angeles, his spouse, led the Heads of Team Thailand agencies, officials and staff of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, along with the volunteer teachers at Wat Thai Los Angeles and members of the Thai community in Los Angeles in observance of the Buddhist Fiftieth-Day Funeral Rites in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother of Thailand.

On December 8, 2025, Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States of America and Mr. Tor Saralamba, Consul-General of Thailand in Los Angeles attended the handover ceremony of four Thai antiquities from the Prakhon Chai group to be returned to Thailand, which include (1) Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, (2) Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, (3) Bodhisattva, and (4) Standing Buddha sculptures at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. Ms. Nitaya Kanokmongkol, Executive Director, Office of National Museums at the Fine Arts Department of Thailand, was the Thai representative to receive the sculptures from Dr. Soyoung Lee, Director of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco.

Mr. Tor Saralamba, Consul-General of Thailand to Los Angeles, his spouse and the Heads of Team Thailand agencies, officials and their spouses, paid a tribute with deepest sorrow and signed the Book of Condolence on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother of Thailand at the Royal Thai Consulate-General.
